| Hi, my name is Snarks and this is my art thread full of scribbles that I call my art. THIS GUY is the main character for a thing I'm working on. His name is Shay. This is actually for a woodcut I'm starting soon. The teacher I have for my animation class is going to help me cut the wood for this. The horse is loosely based off of a real horse that lives in the field across my street. I feel really bad for him because he's always by himself and his back is also sinking. The horse looks like a ghost. That's all I have for this post because I don't necessarily want to spam people my classwork more than I have already. Here are some links to stuff! Art Blog | DA |

| AAAAHH. THanks you guys! I don't know what you people are talking about character designs considering I steal from posts of clothes I find on Pinterest and Tumblr. ;u;
@YoungOldCatCreeper I'll might post a compilation of WIP pictures on tumblr along with the final cut with one of the prints. I'm more or less prepping for the carving bit as I wait for my tool to arrive.
@Leo Actually, no. Shay is more or less represented by a Stag. I've been meaning to do more art for the story Shay is apart of that aren't just basic standing poses. You guys should get on my case about that some haha. |

| Haha. I see what you did there, Leo.
Right now, I more or less have an idea for a story that I want to do. How I'm going to actually execute said idea/story, I'm not sure. I'm slowly writing the first chapter/prologue. |

| I'M SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST BUT NOT REALLY THOUGHThis is my Alternative Surface project for class. (Better/larger pictures here) The purpose of the project was to draw what represents us without blatantly giving ourselves away on a surface that wasn't paper. This is my project. Also, a weird portrait doodle of Dipper Pines that's heavily inspired by a friend of mine from tumblr. Truth be told, if you don't like Gravity Falls then I don't know you anymore. |

| Thank you! The skull was actually from a buck that my step-dad had shot when he went hunting two hunting seasons ago. He usually tends to try to go for the bucks with spikes so that way the ones with larger antlers can go on and reproduce better children. This guy just happened to show up to feed after a lot of nothing.
I'm not actually sure how to actually go about getting animal skulls. I know some people purchase their skulls, but they tend to run high depending on what kind of animal the skull belongs to and what have not. There's also the whole picking up roadkill factor. I don't personally think it's a bad idea as long you take care of any precautions and prepping for transport before hand. It's also a good idea to check to see if it's legal to pick up road kill in your state so that way you can avoid getting into a lot of trouble. (I legally cannot do the dead animal on the road route because it's really illegal in Texas. haha) There's probably more to that method that you would have to do, but I know going to the state's parks and wildlife website will have a lot of answers on what to do about dead animals. |

| well im in england so its even more different ahaha i think its ok to pick stuff up as long as you didnt kill it but shooting animals is a lot harder because no guns plus im in the middle of a city so theres not much roadkill (most of the wildlife around here is pretty canny about cars from what i can tell)
well maybe if i get hold of some money somehow i can buy a skull or two UnU |
