How 'bout that third chapter?

I feel like now is a good time to say this, but this chapter is increasingly becoming the 'Adventures of How Anime Isaac Can Be,' which is pretty awesome.

Bad joke aside, I'm actually curious about Isaac's and Max's spirits since it seems there are factions of spirits not on the best of terms.

I just can't wait for Isaac's spirit to make an actual appearance. While Isaac talking to it is cool and all, I want to see just how anime this spirit is and if it truly has what it takes to become a super shounen hero.

Isaac's spirit's silhouette on that one donation wallpaper kind of makes him look like some kind of cloud bear creature thing.

His spirit is going to be a super shonen cloud bear creature thing if that makes any sense.

I wonder how much longer this chapter will last, it's already on page 46 and there hasn't been a spirit to fight, not to say there will be, since the chapter already lived up to its name "Max, Isaac and the Secret Shortcut".

One can only hope there will be some more spirit action.

(Though personally, I don't think anything could take the cake of Doorman's introduction.)

I doubt there will be any more action since Johnny and the sphinx provided at the beginning. But maybe there will be some spirit action in Chapter 4 hopefully with the whole Activity Club.

I'm excited to learn more about Ed and Isabel as well. They're mysteries to me.

I feel like I haven't seen them in forever, despite it just being a chapter ago.

Chapter 4 is gonna be an Isabel-based chapter, according to Zack's comments, so we'll be seeing at least her again soon(Though I'd imagine with her comes Ed as well).

Really hope we'll be seeing Isaac's spirit. It and Isaac don't seem to be on the best terms it seems, though. As a couple commenters pointed out, Isaac looked to be defending himself while spazzing in that one panel. Also it looked like it had feathered wings in the wallpaper so I wanna confirm that n' stuff.

I didn't even realize that one of the poses he was in on that panel was a defense pose. I GUESS Isaac's spirit heard what Mr. S said or something.

So, Isaac's spirit. Comments guys? Personally, I think it's awesome-looking! I love the swirly aesthetic, especially on its palm! Though I didn't expect it to be yellow, since, y'know, Isaac's spectral aura is blue and all...

I love the design and especially Isaac's realm! Its constantly raining and there are spirit clouds all along the walls! Omg that means Ed and Isabel's realms must look AWESOME!

Dang Issac's spirit just looks great. I've enjoyed chapter 3 immensely, my possible favorite part was seeing Spender for the first time so late in the chapter, you can really see how far Zack's art has come just in between the end of chapter 1 and now. You might even say that Mr. Spender looks...

I think you mean eyebrows, it's beltfeathers are not spiky at all.

It's interesting that Isaac values Doorman so highly, while seeming to have a good bit of contempt for his own spirit.

His spirit looks like a Grecian Lion. I dig it. I'm really enjoying the differences of how each spirit sees the world. Plus I love Ancient Greek architecture.

All in all, Isaac is quickly becoming my all around favorite character.

Edit: Looking back at the page, I want to say it has a Greco Roman flair. That or just Roman. The Romans were good at using anything the Greeks did with their own flair added into the mix. On architecture, the Romans cheated on Greek designs, especially on columns, to have their own flair. A big difference between their buildings is that the Greeks worked with pretty much nothing but marble while the Romans used mainly concrete and bricks for the buildings infrastructure and outsides with the insides of the buildings lavished with marble, art, and what have not.
Either way, I still dig the page and Isaac's character as a whole.

Not going to lie Zues seems like a really intimidating guy, says a lot for isaac to just blow him off like that. I'd like to know why he's got a thing against Mr. Spectacles. If what you say about the next chapter is true, it'd be pretty awesome to see more Isabel & Ed dynamics.

I wonder if it has anything to do with all of the reasons Isaac mentioned earlier in the chapter on why Spender bothers him. Or with that witchcraft Spender pulled just a few pages ago.

Seems to be a case of who Mr. Spender is working for.

There's plenty of speculation to be had there, but no real details. We'll just have to wait this one out, I think.
