Speculation: The ghost train can't leave the non-ghost rails, and is therefore actually pretty harmless.

I wonder what "Player 2" refers to... Could be a love interest, could be an antagonist (maybe the antagonist), could be a supporting character becoming a main character, could be an entirely new addition to the cast...

The suspense is metaphorically killing me!

Could be that it refers to the group getting stuck in a video game.

I'm guessing that Player 2 is Isabel because it would be kind of a stretch to introduce another new main character after three chapters of introducing everyone but the possibility is always there I guess.
I wonder if the train is actually a ghost or if it's a spirit because if it was a ghost then that means there was a living training at one point and then it died! I think its save to say its a spirit then. Spirit Train doesn't sound as spooky though.

I'm thinking that the Player 2 is a bit of both of what's being speculated.

It's too stylized to be like a video game to just be symbolic, but I'm not so sure that they're going to go into a video game either, considering the chapter will most likely be primarily about the ghost train.

I'm thinking that Max and someone else are going to end up playing a video game together for some portion of the chapter, but that the "Player 2" aspect of it is important symbolically as well.

The reptile dark knight spirit is also looking really damn awesome, even though we've only seen his back. (sdsdgf someone already commented on his butt in the page's comments hahahahahahahahahaha)

And also: This page is gorgeous. No wonder Zack was asked to give a comics seminar on summer school.

I noticed something interesting. In the last panel, all the supernatural stuff becomes visible, but you can see the hammer before that.

Therefore: I'm guessing this chapter will involve a violent poltergeist, and that Max's magnet powers will be very useful in the near future.
(Also, the handle seems to be red hot where the spirit is grabbing it. Maybe it has powers involving heat?)

So judging by what Zack revealed at yesterday's stream (not his stream, again, just Dan Ciurczak's Vibe coloring stream that got Zack-hijacked) Chapter 4 will cover 3 days and will feature liberal use of Starchman Stars?

Hold the phone. Max and Zoey are playing monopoly; and since Max is the protagonist that means Zoey is the second player. So if she ends up being "Player Two", that would be some pretty impressive foreshadowing.

Also, I noticed the silhouettes as well. since one kinda looks like ed and another kinda looks like Mr. Spender, maybe it's the activity club paying a visit to drag Max along on a mission? Before he even gets any pizza?

If that's the case I'm sure his sorcery will be a great asset to the team.

Do you think that they'll drag Max off on some adventure, and their dad will send Zoey with them because they can't think of a reasonable reason why she shouldn't come along? Or that Zoey might follow them? I mean, it'll be a nighttime mission, but... their dad doesn't seem to have enough sense that sending his kids out after dark would seem like a bad idea.

I'm gonna call it right now: at some point in this chapter, the scene will cut to Isabel and Ed playing video games. The title globes are usually much more literal and direct than Monopoly-->Retro game aesthetic. We're gonna seem some bona fide vidjas here, without question.

Also weird that there are 9 colours and only 5 characters seen firing...
But at least we see some more colours now, with pink, purple and light blue making their first appearance (or did I miss those colours appearing earlier?)

I'm guessing some spectrals were just off-screen. And yay, another black-aura spectral!
