Haven't got a name for the guy, but he is a 21 year old guy with a house for a tool. He also has a 4 year old daughter who is a medium with incredible destructive potential. A perfect set up for a black comedy.

I'll call him Joe until I can think of a better name. He comes from a large buisness family of Spectrals who use their powers to get ahead in life. Dead family members spy on other buisnesses, tools and mediums are used to either enhance their own buisness and sometimes sabotage the competion. Joe is the black sheep.

He decided he rather go to school to be a doctor and help people then go with the family buisness. His family actually supports his descion only because he made the argument that a spectral doctor could be an advantage. Because of this they are still on civil terms, but neither side understands the other.

In High school he met his daughters mother. A rebel and adventurous women who wasn't a spectral. He accedentially got her pregnant. When their child was being born, a fight between 2 powerful spirits broke out, nearly burying the hospital in rubble. Joe manage to keep his daughter safe from harm, but was separated from the mother, and was unable to prevent one of the spirits from tooling up in his daughter.

The mother was never found, body nor ghost. Joe then pretty much had to raise his daughter alone for the next four years as his family didn't really care and the mothers parents blamed him for their daughters dissappearance and refused to have anything to do with him or his daughter.

When his daughter turned 4, she finally became a full spectral, so not only must he raise his child, hes got to teach a four year old to be careful lest she demolish a building or a mall.

It makes the house basicly a safe haven. The inside of the house can have as many rooms as He wants along with any floor plan he wants. If he wanted to, he could lock someone in an infinite maze and even separate them from the rest of the rooms. The house looks the same on the outside but can be infinitely bigger or smaller on the inside. The house also repairs itself from damage (which is useful considering his daughter.) He rents out rooms to spectrals coming in if they need a place to stay, and protects spirits and spectrals that need a safe place to stay as well as a makeshift hospital for spectrals. He tolerates no violence under his roof and neither does his spirit which will inform him of damage or fights. People or ghosts that don't follow his rules are ejected. His Spirit energy color is pink. (He is embarassed about it)

His daughter has black spirit energy and is basically an earth bender, she can control the ground, dirt and rocks in the immediate area. She can generate small earthquakes and rip spires of earth and rock from the ground and move them through the air. She doesn't have full control of her powers and sometimes causes shakes when she sneezes. She is a generally cheerful child and is in wonderment of the new world around her.

If only I could come up with a name.

I made a whole essay under the drawing too. It's not a verry popular topic.

In that case, Mason would be an ideal last name. It essentially means builder, whereas having the last name kingston suggests that they are descended from some nobles who owned/ruled over a town some king visited or was born in or something.

Mason to me just doesn't have the same ring to it. Besides they are a rich and noble(on the outside) family.

Since I have no idea about the average life cycle of a tool, I'm going to say that this is his first tool, and his family have methods to make spectrals when they want, generally family members are made after puberty. He found the house about a year ago for sale and convinced his family to help pay for it so he could move out and raise his daughter away from that enviroment. He had no idea it was a tool (the Spirit inside drew him to the house.) Since he has gone a long time without a tool, he is pretty decent at spirit combat to defend himself against hostile spirits without relying on one. Since his tool doesn't move and is mostly defensive in nature, he gets good practice with his skill.

His daughter is pretty much a powerhouse, luckily she isn't the type of kid to throw tantrums because the neighbor hood would be wrecked. Still it helps to have a house that can repair itself when she has a knightmare.

That's ta goal. I like making characters have something for a DM to use to give the Character a sub-plot so they can grow as a character. Even if he doesn't get used, I find it enjoyable ta flesh him out.

Grandma Elienor Kingston, the head of the family and a very powerful woman. She is a no nonsences buisness woman that only cares about 3 things: profits, her families reputation, and the family's influence, in that order. Anyone who threatens any one of those things, whether an outsider or even a fellow family member is not tolerated. Ethan gets along with her the least. Elienor tolerates Ethan's behavior only because the value a spectral doctor in the family would do, and because it doesn't hurt their name, in fact it probably helps it, it doesn't hurt that doctors make a cozy large profit in the long run. Her tool is the family tool, passed down from generation to generation as it is the head of the house holds job to keep the spirit inside the family, not that it wants to leave. The actual tool is changed occasionally from time to time and it is curriently reading glasses. They allow the user to see greed and she exploits this to its fullest. The Spirit, strangely enough, is happy with its role because it feeds on greed and why would it ever leave this buffet?

Whoah nice! Love the detail. Yes, I can imagine her being the ruler with an iron fist.
