I dunno, maybe? We have other threads about singular series.

Those are immensely popular series, likely to drown out lesser known (but still assuredly quality) series like this one if they are in the same thread.

...Maybe this is just because of the circles I hang out in, but I was under the impression that this was a very popular series.

I've honestly never heard of it; by immensely popular I mean Doctor Who is so representative of the UK they absolutely had to put in some kind of tribute during the olympics, its a part of their culture, just like spider-man and the rest of marvel are a part of the culture of the United States. We're talking kids grow up on this stuff. Most of them are fairly old series, as well. And then theres a couple video games, which don't have a general thread yet for some reason.


EDIT: The word I'm looking for is iconic.

I just started watching the series on hulu, its pretty good.

The show made me want to read the books, I read the first and all I have to say is this
