I actually got some correct. Apparently the scepters have the words written in that language that the doorman spoke at the hilt.

I kinda wanna know what mr. Starchman does to artists but if you think of it, english class teachers WOULD have the most trouble with the ARTIST kids in the class, considering most of the artist kids( I di it and i know plenty others have too) consider english class a waste of time.

And I can see why Eightfold is willing to be in a tool, its probably much safer in there and Isabel sweetens the deal with food.

Yup! Not saying it invalidates our current ideas, just that it confirms things we might have otherwise considered implausible. Like a spirit weak enough to recover in a week being powerful enough to do what eightfold does when in a tool, or a spirit critically injuring itself at its wielder's command so that they can continue to use the tool.
