| There should really be one of these. Basically, this topic is what it sounds like. Discuss here any movies you're excited for/have recently seen. |

| I haven't made it to many movies since the Winter movie season, and I only managed to catch Django and Les Mis. Both of them were great though.
As for movies I'm excited for, The World's End. Edgar Wright's third "blood and ice cream" movie, it's all I want. And it just got moved up from October to August. |

| I am under the impression that by the second one he was trying to be more ridiculous than usual, because he knew the films were themselves idiotic.
Which is why I love him as an actor.
In other Ghost Rider-y news, they are evidently making a third one. |

| Just recently I watched both the Road to El Dorado, and Paranorman. TRtED was really funny, but isn't groundbreaking, but I really enjoyed it. Paranorman did a bunch of cool things in the production and in the background, but ultimately I didn't enjoy the plot, and found the characters to be largely unlikable. |

| I just sat through the new GI Joe.
Better than the first, but still not all that great. |

| I also just watched the new GI Joe Maybe it was the bad angle on the 3d but i found it even worse than the last one? its essentially all effects, it would have no redeemin features whatsoever on a home tv |

| Meanwhile the most recent movie I've watched is The Croods.
I honestly really enjoyed watching The Croods. It was really funny and, oh gosh, the graphics were just gorgeous. |

| Ah, wow, a movie thread. Obligatory "How to Train Your Dragon is my favorite movie ever."
I own the movie, the big full-color hardcover movie production book, and the first five chapter books. Despite the movie ultimately being VERY VERY different from the books, I still love it. I love both equally, actually. Fishlegs in the books is a tiny, scrawny kid with glasses who is allergic to EVERYTHING and he and Hiccup are best friends, so I found it charming that he doesn't really bully Hiccup with the others during the movie. Also, Snotlout is Hiccup's cousin in the books, and for the movie they were gonna make him a girl but decided against it. Also John Powell is a perfect human being and makes beautiful music oh my god.
OKAY I'VE............. RAMBLED ENOUGH...................... [sobbing in the distance because of amazing movies]
Recently saw Rise of the Guardians, which I enjoyed IMMENSELY, and I now own Wreck-It Ralph on blu-ray which is amazing. The soundtrack to it is absolutely stellar! Henry Jackman is a great composer.
If you can't tell, I'm a sucker for animated movies. I love Tangled and Brave, oh my good golly gosh. And Shrek. [obligatory ogre pun] |

| Disney is releasing Lilo and Stitch and Atlantis on Blu Ray in June and I'm excited to pick those up, as I only have the VHS for Lilo and only discovered the greatness of Atlantis a year ago. |

Oh man, I'll need to pick those up. Huge movies of my childhood. I just need Emperor's New Groove on Blu Ray and I'll be happy. |

| Someone already spoke about How to Train your Dragon, Wreck It-Ralph and Rise of the Guardians, right? I'm here to pay my tribute to that. Also, Paranorman.
Live-action wide, just saw and loved Django Unchained (but it's obligatory to love Tarantino's scripts, so it isn't a big deal of a thing) and The Sessions; which is cool, too. Watch it, if you are planning to have a charismatic protagonist going through a hard-live and don't want to cry at the end [really, the ending is nice and thumbs-up]. |

I really enjoyed it as well, though it still had the shaky camera. I hate that gimick. I just saw Hitchcock. Mind=Blown |

| Did anyone see the movie 'John DIes in the End'?
If not, I highly recommend it, I will give the warning that it is quite graphic though. |
