I tried it again, instead of straining I try to make it as if I was extending my third arm or something, it was a weird way of imagining it, but it was better than the rasengan thing, leagues better.

Kinda rude to ask a question without introducing yourself

"My name is chase, nice to meet you too. . ."

"They left, went to take out a tower or something. . ."
"How long have you been there listening and watching for?"

I was about to ask her who she was talking about, but I'd rather not know exactly who she was reffering to.

Chase:

"Not long. I just woke up to find ya trying to mess with spectral energy." She shrugs.

Mad finally walks back into the room. "Oh, good. Good to see you awake Mouse." He turns to Chase and smiles. "Thanks for keeping an eye on Alice, she looks better already."

Oliver and Arthur:

Arthur peer's down the hallway around to corner to find it exactly as he suspect, empty and full of doors to other classrooms, with plenty of dusty and chipped paint.

Jeanine and Ryan:

The Hippie responds, "Alright, Alright. Like maaaaaaaaaan, I'm awake. Could use a trip with Mary Jane if you know what I mean man. This is like, what's wrong with the system man. Armed thugs, asking about kids, messing with my civil rights man."

arthur checks the rooms one by one, making sure to make as little sound as possible and not give away the fact that they are here to easily

Oliver follows Arthur, keeping him protected at all times.

"alright then" I was still wary of strangers, that'd never change, as it was common sense, but since she was here, she probably was an ally.

"It wasnt very hard, we technically just sat here and talked.

Chase:

Mad just smiles. "That's good. Now excuse me, I'm going to take Alice for a little. I'm afraid, 'flushing the drug out of her system' is quite literal."

Mad then escorts Alice down the hall, leaving Chase alone with Mouse. "I'm going to get something ta eat, youse want anything?"

 Oliver and Arthur:

The rooms are quite empty and dark. It takes you about 30 minutes to check all the rooms in the hallway and nothing stands out in any of them. The floor creeks underneath your feet, and a voice comes from down the hall, back at the hole in the ground.

"I swear I heard something Mike!"

Jeanine and Ryan:

"Man, I don't know, I don't want people to get the wrong idea if I let a underage girl into my house man, its all good though, the dude abides maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan."

(Hint: That school is pretty much there only for the tunnel. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan)

arthur wispers to oliver"oh shit... what are we gona do?"

First, we don't talk to each other anymore. Second, we hide! Let's go.

Oliver jumps through the nearest door. If there is none nearby, he heads down the hallway away from the voices and hides behind the first corner he encounters.

"Hmmm, if you have marshmallows, a fork and an oven or a lighter I'd be the happiest man alive right now."

I realized it was an oddly specific request but marshmallows were always a source of fluffy relaxation and comfort for me.

Chase:

"Sorry, no marshmallows, we got MRI's, that's about it. That's all the hearts distribute." She shrugs.

Oliver and Arthur:

Oliver ducks into a classroom as he hears the voice. Arthur is now in the hall as footsteps start to be heard.

Ryan and Jeanine:

"Stereotype? Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan, that's harsh..."

"Well, he wanted to know if I seen some kids running about and I told him about a weird one I saw last night, he asked me where he went and I said 'I don't know man.' How do I get my supplies, everyone has to go through them man, I tried growing my own tomatoes, but cannabis is all I'm good at maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. Bothering me, man the whole world's been botherin' me. It's the system maaaaaaaaaaaaaan!"

Alright, we'll be going then. Thank you for your time. By the way, it would probably be a good idea to check on your crop. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to meddle with it out of spite... Ryan nods to Jeanine and walks into another random alleyway.

arthur follows thinking "well YEAH, i ment besides that"

"MRI's? Like the brain scanning? that doesn't sound edible, and even if it was, anything that sounds remotely related to my brain is something i wont eat, especially if the hearts made it, for all I know thats a brainwashing tool."

I hoped she didnt take it like i was calling her an enemy, but i wasnt going near that, whatever it was.

Chase:

Yeaaaaaah, that was a flub on my part. I meant to say they are MRE 's. (Meals ready to eat). I'm just going to blame it on her accent. <_<  >_>

"No, MR'E's, meals ready to eat." Her accent made it sound like an I, instead of an E. She comes back down and throws him a square package, an MRE ration.

A muffled bang is then heard from outside, it is a loud and blunt sort of sound.

Oliver and Arthur:

As you hide in the classroom and hear the footsteps get closer as the voice rings through the hall.

"No, I don't think it was a rat... Will you just listen for a second, it might be those intruders the squackbox has been going on about since last night, I heard they killed the Hand... What no, the bastard had it coming, that and his creepy little 'servant', it just means we need to be at high alert."

Then a sound like a crack of thunder blasts through the air, startling everyone.

Ryan and Jeanine:

The random alley has no where else to go but to town square, (The hippie was at the edge of town, pretty much all alley's on one side lead to his street.)

As you enter, a large bang rings through the air, the air above shimmers as the shield ripples.

(Hint: Guess who started hitting the barrier)

Perfect.

Oliver, still in his hiding spot, Creates an upward force with as much power as he can right in the section of hallway that the voices are coming from, slamming whoever's over there into the ceiling.

He then grabs Arthur with his power and pulls them both up, blasting a small hole in the ceiling with telekinesis and lifting them both back onto the roof.

Look around, see if you can figure out where that noise came from.

...and on a slightly less urgent note, I don't suppose you remember why we went into the school to begin with? It seems kind of pointless in retrospect.

Jeanine's head jerks up at the sound. Town hall it is. Perhaps we should hide in a dark corner instead of in the center of the town? Or even better. She pulls out a pin and uses it to lift herself on the nearest roof. We can hide up here. Off the streets. she kneels near the ledge of the roof and creates a platform construct. Coming?

"Hmmm" I checked the box, skeptical of the food now as i slowly pull it out and taste it for any weird effects.

"Theres something going on outside, unfortunately until I talk to GC my powers wont come back online, so you wanna go scope it out whilst I deal with that?"

"i dunno actuly, i kinda wanted to get some hearts uniforms so we could sneak around a bit better, maybe get some better intel, but that seemed to brush off kinda quickly..." arthur looks around a bit, trying to remember where the noise came from "i think it came from over there..."

Everyone:

You both can now hear the a second boom. Those outside can see the air above shimmer as the shield ripples from an impact originating at the edge of town.

Oliver and Arthur:

The voices sound quite aggravated now. You don't even know if Oliver's attack hit anything.

Jeanine and Ryan:

The people in the city act like nothings going on, still oblivious to anything. The town hall however bursts with activity, as hearts start pouring out, thankfully your at a distance and have a crowd to cover you and they are clearly going after the source of the disturbance.

Chase:

Mouse, really not sure whats going on says, "Yah, I'll do some checkin outside."


The MRE tastes bland, but filling. It's military rations. There are no weird effects. Its turkey 'flavored'.

(Hint: I'm pretty sure all the pc's know what the bang is. It was discussed.)
