Feng very carefully manages not to jump at the explosion. Itd look uncool, and besides, nicking himself with his knife would be fatal. In fact, he makes sure not to react at all. Considering how tense and jumpy the average Avius student is right now, not reacting is impressive. It makes it look, to a casual observer, like he isnt even stressed out at all.

Celina leans over the form of the Golem, carefully out of reach of it's hands. She kneels by the top of the head and pries loose some of the material and examines it.

Auggie backs up, whipping some of the blood away and wobbling back to his team. He could hear the introductions of everyone from afar, so he introduced himself again, "I'm Auggie, or August. Call me which ever name you prefer..." He covered his mouth as he coughed, "Nice to meet you Red, and nice to meet everyone else, if I haven't already met you!" Auggie placed his large hand on his chest and gave a hard cough, getting and blood out of his system that he needed to. The inside of his hand was covered in spatter.

Pedro turns to Auggie. "You Ok man? Coughing up blood is never a good sign, how bout you relax until we can get you some medical treatment, make sure that your not going to cough up a rib next."

Pedro turns to Red, "Do you mind staying with him just in case, till I make sure this big guy is down for the count?"

Auggie smiled, and rubbed his chest again, sitting down and observing the thing from afar. He growled slightly, he was a bit annoyed that he was kicked, but he did what he had to do. But man, did he still want to beat the golem into dust. He shook his and relaxed, smiling again.

The headmaster laughs at all of their naivety. "Ahh you freshman, look Nayla, The crowd thinks that this is it, HA! this is where the fun starts . . ." As he says that ,the golem hums to life, the hole inside if its chest is wider from the explosion, revealing a second heart gem, this heart gem begins to beat, faster and faster, until it falls silent. This leaves the crowd in awe as the pieces all begin to slowly build back onto the golem The two gems in the boys hand begin to magnetically pull themselves back towards the monster, yanking themselves out of the two boys hands. The eyes flare immensely and the Golem gets up extremely fast, charging at the group at swinging its fists at whatever it can manage to hit at. It takes extra care to keep Twist at close range, this thing wasn't as stupid as it seemed. The cracks left from the previous attacks, are glowing with bright pink energy, and seem to be resealing, however there is some scarring left, after the golem is fully repaired.

"Ohhhhhp, this thing has got a second heart! Red, Auggie, change of plans. I need you guys to keep it off Twist, he's our heavy hitter but wont do us some good if we cant keep it away form him. Dakker, can you guard Twist, knock back the attacks on him so he can fire his thing without impunity? And Feng, now be a good time to water those shoulders, the chest too if you can. I'll freeze it and see if we can disable its movements!"
 
Pedro ducks and rolls under its swings, any swing that gets to close to the ground he lifts himself up with his staff and rolls over the fist.

"Celina, give it a good shock all over, gems can vibrate at a high frequency if you give it a charge, so getting it to ring might give us more of a target!"

Auggie nodded, running forward and around it again. This time around, he decided to change it up. Instead of going for it's leg, he pulled his arms up in defense, and ran around the golem. He looked at it closely, trying to find weak points and then dashed back, only a few feet. He could tell the eyes had to go, but he couldn't reach them. Instead he hardened his skin to protect himself as he tried to think of a better back-up plan.

Hey Feng, give me a shout when you've got your hands free. I've got a little something that would be pretty effective if I had someone fast and flying to help out.

Oliver slots two more rounds into his cannon, and aims carefully. With two clicks of the trigger, he fires two heavy lead cannonballs at the golem's feet.

The golem swats at the cannonballs, it knows better since it got that hole on its chest. Taking all the damage in its hand, it receives more than a few cracks in its arm and hand. However, as soon as the damage is dealt, the pink light begins to faintly glow again.

Auggie launched forward again, swishing around the legs and throwing some heavy hitting punches around the calves and ankles. He tried to make some dents into the legs, but couldn't tell whether he was doing enough, if any, damage to it. He then continues to dash around, throwing a few punches.

When you're ready. Removing limbs is futile against such a target. We need to take it out in a single coordinated strike. Feng doesnt shout, but he makes his voice project over the noise of the golem. Then he takes flight once more.

The golem goes sporadic in its movements swiping and clawing at its face, Slams the ground, sending out a small shockwave, which has the chance to knock the students back if they are caught in it. The Golem goes after the last thing he sees, which happens to be Redglare, and starts swatting directly at him, perhaps it was the nerve gas, or maybe it was rage, but it was even angrier than the last time its face was attacked.

Oliver takes an iron spike attached to a long coiled steel cord. He points it toward the ground and drops it, which is immediately followed by a burst of propulsion from the spike itself that buries it deep in the ground. He then takes the cord, which has small balls attached every several inches, and throws it in the air.

Feng, catch the cord and try to wrap it around the golem as many times as possible!

Auggie leaps back for a moment, moved by the shockwave. He looked surprised, but shook it off and counted to try and get in as many punches as possible at the moment. He was still thinking about a plan, but very focused on his current objective. His mind wondered every now and again.

Pedro slams his staff into the ground to push himself into the air as the shock wave comes, he sprouts wings to slow his descent enough to avoid it and folds them back up into his body.

Pedro then makes a dash for one of the arms as it swings at Red, using his staff and wings to catch it, and his hands and feet sprout claws to hang on. Pedro's wings fold back into his back and he sprouts a tail that he uses to keep balance and hold on while he needs to as he climbs up the arm to the shoulder like a gecko.

Celina leaps back and steps in front of Redglare, pushing him back and raising her blades to block any attacks.

Feng has no troubles wrapping the cord around the golems body while it is distracted by the others, wrapping around parallel to the ground at first, but then increasing in angle until he ends up wrapping it around from between the golems legs to over its shoulders. He then gets the last bit of slack around the neck, carefully avoiding tying the others up or letting it melt in acid. He also has to avoid breathing in the nerve gas, but being around so many poisons and their fumes has gotten him use to that.

The golem is successfully captured by the wire, its strength does nothing for it as it is brought to its knees. "Oh ho ho? I think I'm going to like this . . ."Cloud 9" The head master says to himself. Then his face gets solem and queit "Still . . .to have to dragons on the same team, what are the odds? This team is rough, badly coordinated, and more than a little lacking in teamwork with a strong need to showboat . . . .but if they already knew all that they wouldn't be here, I must admit Cloud 9, is certainly amazing . . ." These are the headmasters innermost thoughts, but what comes out is "OY KIDS! Woud ya hurry it up? other teams ARE waiting you know? If you guys ever wanna be mercanaries, or Adventures , Or Royal Servants, You need to finish your enemies quickly, taking too long means higher chance of injury and casualty! Even if we have dolled it down so you wont die, thats no reason to slack, FINISH HIM!" Man the Headmaster was loud, but even most of the crowd had to agree that his words had merit, but the only ones not listening were the ones hissing and booing at the two dragons telling them to leave.

We're getting to that, headmaster. Okay, now everyone get as far away from the golem as possible!

Oliver takes out a detonator for the numerous bombs dotted along the length of his steel wire. After waiting a moment for everyone to get out of the blast zone, he presses the button.

Pedro whistles as he climbs. "I guess they forgot to bring their rotten produce to throw at us, shame on them, how dare they break from tradition."
 
Pedro, having guessed Twists plans, and Seeing Red is quite busy to notice, Leaps from the shoulder and catches Red, intent to carry him away to the ground.

Pedro then also see's Celina and Auggie and how they are not safe from the explosion. "Left nipple." Pedro curses. He swoops in with Red, and spreads his wings and covers his body in scales to form a hardened net with his body to protect the three from the explosion, he uses the staff to help support himself. His harden scales covering his wings and body make him very immobile, but very sturdy.
