Phh of course we can! I guess I'll take over from here... The elf girl ran through the forest laughing as she remembered the look on the man's face. She reached a clearing where her home lay, surrounded by flowers. She stepped inside the humble abode and began to cook the fish into a stew. She sang as she worked, a beautiful song that rose like the wind and simmered down like water, but then.... Celina turns to the next person.

Auggie looked around, and nodded, as to say he would pick up from here. "When suddenly....An elven man appeared behind her. He was much taller than she, and both his ears and hair were longer than hers. She slowly made her way around to face him, as she looked shocked, but happy to see the man as well. She must have known him some how, as they greeted each other warmly. The man looks at the fish and comments..." He waves his hand forward for the next person.

Throughout the room that all of you congregate in, aside from Feng, who is in his room at present, a knocking on the door entrance is heard.
A tall and slender young gentleman pokes his head through the door. His sleek and rectangular glasses slide down his nose when he speaks causing him to have to constantly readjst them. He spoke in a clear concise tone, it wasnt cold or serious, but rather jokey and nervous sounding. The man's clothes looked like that of a successful bussness man, a sut with thin lines and a plain black tie, complemented by some rather top notch khakis. his hair was jet black and cut short, though he appeared human. "I'm Mr. Patterson, and ill be the one conducting your first class, and in all honesty i never imagined I'd get the pleasure of teaching the thrd best team in freshman class. In order of missions that makes you guys the 7th best division, in underclassmen, and 15th in the entire school, of course the senior commitee is always number one, but to be that advanced and only in your first year, its certainly something to be proud of huh?" The teacher gives you consice direction on how to reach his class, even though you had maps anyway. "i'll be your homeroom teacher, and supervise homeroom ,and "Alchemy 101- and the study thereof " The teacheer finally manages to stop talkin and slips out the door. Leaving Apollo with one word while grunting "Weirdo . . .". Midoria didnt say anything, she was too vaught up in trying to be some form of help to anyone who needed it.

Some way or another most of you make it to class, ou may have detour'd or you may have went straight down but somehow most of you're there. Mr patterson eagerly shakes the young mens hands, as if hes just happy to teach them when they enter the class while with the women he lightly takes their hands and does a slight bow. "Okay ladies and gents now that we're here, since im pretty sure you didnt come here for any boring stories about my life, you came here to learn MAJIC right?" With a snap of his fingers bottles and flasks, with bubbling liquids appear "Okay then lets get right down to it, since you're all first years, and i assume have no knowledge of proper alchemy we are going to start off slowly, but dont worry, ill take you through this gently so it doesnt stress you out. None of this here is lethal, might turn your hair pink, or give ya an extra arm, but it wont kill you, and all of these effects are temporary, they should last no longer than 30 seconds at most, and since if any of you try alchemy in the future, many of your experiments will be trial and error, best to try it out now , no?" There are only 5 ingredientss on each of your desks, Starfish arm, lizard tail, Giants tears, Chimera blood, and Imp leaf. Mr. Patterson reassures you all that these are just names based on the ingredients have. Midoria seems unphased and puts Strafish arm and Imp Leaf together, quickly drinkin the purplish mixture she has made all the way down to the end of the tube, Apollo , not wanting to be outclassed, gets to work as well on his mixture. You are all left to your own devices to mix and test as you desire

Pedro is surprised by the teacher's sudden entrance and sudden exit. He looks at the map and scratches his cap a little. He hears what Apollo says, and gives him a questioning look. "You really need to work on your definitions. Unless he secretly brought us all an invisible mole rat, he didn't act very strange at all. Or is he strange because he was actually cheerful? Heavens no, we can't have that." Pedro says the last part in an overly exaggerated theatrical way.


At the Alchemy lab, (Pedro managed to find his way but was last into the classroom) he is given a white rat to test on since he is a dragon, digestible potions do not work on dragons.

He holds his new rat. His eyes squint a little as he studies it, then happily declares "I shall name you Mr. Nibbles. Now, let see what we have to try today Mr. Nibbles."

He cuts some starfish arm and adds some giant tears and gives them to Mr. Nimbles. Nimbles expands and grows twice the rats size, its gaining muscular features. "Whoa Nimbles, that's how you attract the lady rats! Show them your stuff!"

Celina smiles. She likes the professor and is a little surprised to hear that they were amongst the best in the school. She turns to the alchemy things and rubs her hands together, mixing Giant tears with Imp leaves. She swirled it in a vial, bracing her self before swallowing the bitter mixture. She blinks then her hair turns her pink. Cool!

I was hoping we'd get to start on alchemy nice and early. I like the teacher, too. He seems like a blue to me. Just about anyone can be represented by a certain color. I'm a blue, and I think he's a blue too.

Oliver looks thoughtfully at the available ingredients for a few moments, then mixes a cup of crushed imp leaves with two slices of lizard's tail and three drops of giant's tears. He puts a stopper into the vial as the imp leaf absorbs the giant's tears and the resulting substance quickly burns and evaporates. The vapor is trapped inside the vial.

If I mixed it properly, this should be dragonskin vapor. Let's see...

He pulls out the stopper, inhales some of the vapor, and quickly replaces the stopper. Sure enough, his skin slowly morphs and shifts, taking on a noticeably scaly texture. He puts a burner under his arm, lights it, and sweeps it back and forth a few times. the scales are unaffected.

Cool, huh? It should wear off in about five minutes.

He grins widely, rather grateful that his attempt at showing off didn't blow up in his face.

Auggie doesn't directly greet the professor, but warms up to him rather quickly. He looked about, fascinated by what was placed in front of him. He had observered the others, shocked, but interested in what could happen if he tried these in a mixture. What if he got some could get some cool features like the others? So, Auggie took it upon himself to mix Giant Tears, Chimera Tears, and Imp Leaves together. There was bubbling at first, but it calmed down shortly after he sturred it well. He thought to himself, 'Welp, down the hatch, as they say...'. He drank the mixture, catiously, and waited for some reaction.

A few moments passed, when suddenly his lower teeth popped out, sticking out and looking sharp. Next his ears gained a slight, barely noticeable point at the top, and a tail wormed its way out of his lower back and wiggling about. He shrieked, loudly, his voice sounding deeper than it used to. Covering his mouth, and looking like a deer in the head lights, Auggie suddenly shot up in height, if only a few inches, and grew wider as a result. His muscles were much more pronounced now, and made his clothes tighter as well. The last thing was no biggie, which was his hair getting an inch or two longer than it was, and that it had be come whispy.

"Excellent ! you guys are some of the best students ive ever ha-" The teacher cuts himself off when he sees Midoria fawning over Pedro, she's giggling and saying strange tings like " I like the way how you dedicated your fight to me . .it was cute" she whispers this in his ear for a moment, but this was totally out of character for her, there was strange and then there was this. The teacher laughs and explains what exactly is going on with her " Ahh, the ingredients she mixed have a very strange effect, it will take one emotion, normally something insignifacnt or buried, latch on to it, and then amplify that feeling intesively, be glad it wasnt resentment or dislike, let alone hate, hahaha ahh the wonders of the mind." This guy doesnt really seem to mind all of these transformations goin on around him. Later he brings out a golden orb, it seems to radiate with energies like nothing seen before .Another purpouse of this class is to prepare you for dangers you may encounter dring your work in the feild, whatever the feild may be, exploring and travel is a given, this little gem right here is called a sage gem, and what makes it so very special is that it specialises in draining the majic of -" "Boodoop!" you all hear this noise, but have no idea from where it eminates, as if it came out of the walls at every angle.
The teacher takes a special intrest in Celina " Wow, you managed to concoct a mix that didnt ridiculously alter you by that much, good job. nature itself seems to like you, very peculiar indeed . . . "

"Second period will begin in approximately 10 minutes, teachers please finish up your lessons and students prepare for your second class to begin shortly". The teacher's glasses become tinted white, the shine making it hard to see his eyes. As if he was a puppet and his master had given his strings some slack his torso leans to the left while his legs remain upright. "Oh well, guess we'll cover it some other time, you guys should head over to the gym, its where the REAL fun is" he says licking his upper lip for a breif moment. Eventually before you all leave the effects have warn off, and Midoria is trailing behind everyone after getting the full report on what she did while she was "out of it" not doubt out of emberassment she says nothing. Apollo has finally fused with the double that split out of him after he drank his mix, the clone was an opposite of him, almost seemed like an improvement.

By the time you all arive you see the huge gym has changed in appearance, taking on a more Colloseum-like look its huge, an army could fight a war here with another army and have room to run in any direction, this school really did love ignoring the laws of reality. The fields were grass and appeared to be like that of rich farmland. before many of the teens had time to take it in, the booming voice of an ogre woman interupted them "ALL RIGHT WELCOME TO M.P.E ! IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW THATS, MAJI-PHYSICAL EDUCATION. WE DONT SPEND OUR TIME IN BOOKS HERE, HERE YOU TAKE ON REAL PROBLEMS, REAL CHALLENGES! SINCE ALL OF YOU ARE NEWBIES IVE BEEN INSTRUCTED NOT TO PUSH YOU ON YOUR FIRST DAY, YOU WONT BE SO LUCKY IN THE COMING WEEKS, HOWEVER IF YOU FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY, NO MATTER WHAT GETS THROWN AT YOU YOU'LL COME OUT ON TOP, AFTER A WHILE YOU'LL BE ASKING FOR HARDER WORK." The woman was loud but not angry looking, she didnt look mean, but she did have a look that said she meant what she said and only said what she meant.

All of you are properly guided to where Cloud sits, more and more students pour in, only filling one fourth of the colloseum seating arrangement. "All right kids, since you're all new to this we'll start off very simple, this week, we are teaching mage on mage combat in various ways, today is Dodgeball . . . . Its pretty simple, these balls can be lit on fire covered in ston and even dipped in acid, but they wont. . be destroyed, likewise neither can you. In this colloseum space if the ball hits you, you're out, if the majic on the balls harms you in any way you're out, you get KO'd by majic? Yep, out , and if you are fatally attacked you are out, and the person who attempted it will also be out. Now dont get me wrong there will be times when you'll get caught and harmed in the real world, but this isnt it just yet. If any harm were to befall you , you'd be instantly teleported out and sat out for the rest of this game, it has 3 rounds if there is a tie. last team standing wins, even if its only by one member

Here are the basics each team has a barrier no one can cross, they can leave this barrier to try and eliminate other teams, camping is frowned upon and after 5 minutes the barrier dissapates and no one is safe . The dodgeballs are in the center of the feel and all of you have to converge on it to get one, its alot simpler than fighting to get a mage out, especially if they have backup. The game starts in 5 minutes so get ready guys, you've only got your teamates after that. This is more than a game its strategy, and you need to learn to adapt as mages , and this is a good way to start." The woman turns around only to turn back around an point a finger in the direction of your team. "And before i forget, whichever freshamn team wins this wins a certain special priveledge when we stop at a certain Avian city. something even most seniors would pull double hellhound poop duty just to get a shot at, so play as if your lives depended on this game."

- this part jumped quick from Mr. Pattersons class , I know, but i have legite been dying to move this story forward so forgive me my mortal folly, Reactions are all im looking for here, describe how they reacted to Mr. Patterson acting strange all of a sudden, What do they think about the orb, do they want to play D ball?, Do they care about the prize?---

Celina rubs her hands together and electricity crackles between them. She evaluates the space between the balls and her self and starts to stretch a bit. She is confident that she could take out at least three people before they got to the balls and turns to the group and asks How you guys feeling? I have a plan for this. I think the faster people should go for the balls, so that they can nail as many people as possible. If you can use majic on the balls then do so. And if you see somebody aiming at you, stand still until they actually throw the ball, then move.

Auggie whips his tail around, and huffs at this sudden change of behavior. Though some of his features have been hardened to a degree, he still seemed interested in the orb, but shake off any interest he has in it, thinking whatever he was hoping for was false, or pointless. He was stuck like this now, and nothing could change that. He looked out the door, stomping (but trying not to) down the hall and to the Colosseum like building. He looked truly amazing, he'd never seen a place this big before. "Whoa..." His mouth gaped, his voice still deeper than it used to be, and Auggie was still obviously disgruntled by this, but continued, "D-odgeball? I've never played it like this before....Sounds kind of...Kind of cool? I think?" Despite the fact that his voice was deep, it still had the naive tone he'd arrived with, and even innocence lingered in his face. His ears perked when he heard about a prize, but kept that in the back of his mind. "I dunno, I mean I could probably take people out myself, though I can't use majic."

Feng shows up for class and sits with the others without commenting. This will be easy enough. They didn't impose a height limit.

Pedro is initially frozen by Midoria's forwardness, his cheeks and ears beat red. He really isn't used to woman hitting on him for once. When she whispers into his ear, Pedro nearly faints.

The teachers explanation gets him back to his senses. He frowns  slightly at the info. So basically she is drunk.

The sudden whiplash in behavior sends an alarm in Pedro, something isn't right here. His eyes narrow. He's now going to look for similar behavior and or markings on the teachers bodies, this smells of mind control.

On the way to the next class, Pedro doesn't press Midoria, she was not in full control of her actions.



At gym, Pedro is looking for similar markings or signs on the new teacher, slightly listening to the rule explanation. He hears the prize and makes a exaggerated frown face. "An Avian city, yeah, I feel like getting lynched or being mocked at my table manners. Sounds like a great afternoon."

Pedro listens to the others, He decides to play defensively, and scope out the opposing team(s), looking for strengths and weaknesses.

This should be fun.

Oliver readies himself. This is his plan:

He starts by grabbing a ball from the center with his pickpocket majic, and throws it into the center just as the crowd of other students reaches the rest of the balls. With that many people concentrated in one place, it should be a guaranteed score.

He then turns on a couple of his gadgets for deflecting elemental majic. A lightning rod and a personal insta-defroster, for lightning and ice majic respectively.

Finally, he prepares his exceptionally nimble hands for catching balls thrown at him. Years of sleight of hand teaches tricks useful in other disciplines as well.

Five minutes pass. A group behind the general location of Team cloud seems to be flanking around team cloud, its a group of six, two were holding dodgeballs, three were by there side with majic eminating from there hands, and at the back the top of someone's head could be seen. They ignore every passerby, and the mages on the side seem to only be in defensive mode right now, blocking attacks, and dodgeballs coming from various angles, it seems like the only thing they are interested in , as a fact, is YOUR group.

(I have to honestly apoligise for not posting yesterday, I went swimming, and before getting used to the water i jumped in the deep end, it caused me intial pain from the water in my ears but i ignored it, turns out it gave me swimmer's ear, I had to lay on one side and let it drain, unfortunately that didn't allow me to use my computer, i couldn't deal with the pain so i had to go to sleep.)

--Fight, flee? group with the rest to take care of the threat?--

Celina throws a ball and nails a kid in the head then picks up another. She turns and looks at the group flanking hers and she makes her way to Pedro We are being targeted keep your eyes peeled they're going on the defensive. Three mages blocking incoming balls and two with balls, one in the back doing something, I don't know who. Pass it on. she then makes her way to the others throwing dodge balls left and right, charging a few so that when they made contact they zapped the people in the near by vicinity also.

Feng takes off. Naturally, it's much easier to dodge things when you move in three dimensions than it is moving in two. He also prepares his own majic, in case they try to get him with any.

Auggie cracks his knuckles, and looks around at the group. His tail swept across the ground, looking at the mages closely and trying to pick out the weakest. Considering his 'sudden' change in looks, he could try to intimidate them, but that wasn't something he'd like to do. Though it seemed people had trouble even noticing his tail, as they were focused on who could do what in the group, whether it be use majic or get physical with them. "Ge-e-e-ez...What's with these guys...?"Auggie looked stern, and huffed a bit, narrowing his eyes. His fluffy end tail swooped around the ground, barely noticed by the other team, and quickly wrapped it self around the ankle of a mage and pulling, knocking said mage off balance. He smirked, but kept his eyes peeled.

Pedro pulls out his staff and lets it extend, giving him reach and the ability to knock back the balls without touch them and possibly getting disqualified for letting the majic on then get him even if he catches. He uses his ears and eyes to stay alert and sends the dodgeballs that come out the team on the ground back the opposing new team.

"You know, I think this moment to should best be described as, 'that one time many balls were thrown and our faces,' and refuse to elaborate from there. Just letting it sink in."

From three sides, forming a large ( and slightly rinky dink) triangle around him. the hooded students gather around feng. When one of them throws the ball at you, another charges it with electricity, the ball is still hurtling at you, and if it gets close enough, Flight may not be an option for feng.

The group behind Celina has no end, it is as if the are a hdra, when one is hit, another takes its place. Something is surely going on here. Others begin to notice this group and hurl their dodgeballs at them, only for them to seemingly PHASE through the group. One of the balls tossed directly at Celina had Kanji on it, kanji for the word "sorry".

The small boy scampers away on his arms, rolling himself up in a ball of rocks and rolling FAR FAR away from auggie. He may not have been trying to intimidate anyone, but just his appearence worked fine. though, now some stragglers were pretty determined to hit auggie's tail. two ofthem shot fireballs at it, and one threw a stray Dball.

To the right of Pedro, just a few yards was apollo, chucking and diving dodgeballs, he tosses one to Pedro with a slight more jokey-serious tone "This isnt exactly m idea of a fun time, Sanchez, but I want that prize, i know dragons dont much care fo avians on average, but if this is something SENIORS want, you can be damn sure I'm fighting for it!" Midoria didnt seem to like this sport very much, eventually she tries to catch her breath and asks one of the kids to tag her with the ball already.

(you guys are getting effectively boxed in, and the game is about halfway through . . .that aint good, not good at all!)

Auggie blinked, and pulled his tail around a leg as he scampered around the field. He seems distressed, as he tossed a hand out to catch the stray dodgeball before it hit him, then tucking and rolling himself into a corner of the arena (more like tucking and crashing into a corner). He was a bit wobbly when he got back on his feet, and threw the dodge ball anyway, hoping it'd hit someone. "Fssshhhh.... Whoa, the room is spinning still...!" Auggie gripped his head and wobbled back into his corner.

Pedro notices the ball being phased through and begins to suspect that they might not truly be boxed in. He sniffs the air, using his nose to identify a real target, and uses his staff like a bat to hit balls at targets his nose identifies, and mostly to knock a hole into the formation.

"I think we got ourselves an illusionist or two, me thinks that some of these guys aren't real."
 
Pedro notices Midoria struggling and moves to defend, though not making it obvious, still using his nose to identify targets and hit balls that are thrown at him and Midoria at those targets.

"I don't suppose anyone has some sort of illusion negating ability."

Celina dodges the ball with the writing on it and looks around for her friends and shouts That's okay! No apology necessary! she then rains lightning down on the people nearby her ducking low to avoid incoming balls, catching a few and throwing them at angles to hit two or three people, sending lightning flying everywhere (set to stun of course)

Feng doesn't seem to worry, and starts talking to himself.Really, you'd think students of such a revered academy would know about a race as important as mine. I'm from such a major family, as well... Everyone's so uneducated. He simply dives under the ball, using the momentum to fly over the heads of the hooded students and away from them. He looks directly at the group of illusions/illusionists and uses his own magic to reverse the illusion on the caster.
