Now the question is: How long to bug ghosts last? Because clearly bugs can become ghosts, but with such short lifespans and the sheer amount of bugs in the world, the world should be overflowing with bughosts, unless perhaps their lifespans as ghosts is equal to their lifespans when alive.

Though, if for some reason an insect was strong enough not to get absorbed, and instead absorbed OTHER insects until it got powerful enough to absorb other things... think of the monstrosity that could make.

Looks like the answer to your question is that the insect ghosts quickly get eaten by other spirits. There is probably a whole spirit ecosystem of them eating each other.

While I think the new page is referencing how Max likely knew Agent Day as a kid, I think that is not the acquaintance she is referring to, as Zarei barely knows Max, and he would not be a source of information on the town because he just got there.

I agree that Max probably isn't who Day is referring to. I think that he was slipped in there because it was the perfect opportunity for a cutaway.
And boy am I excited for the next parts now, because I've been wanting Max to investigate the school store since it was revealed in June! Very excited for what's to come!

The question was "How do you know so much about us?" and the answer "...you and I have a mutual friend." could mean that Agent Day knew Max's mother, who could have told Day about Zarei and Spender if she was a part of the incident 13 years ago, like how Zarei and Spender was a part of it if my memory is correct.

That might be true. But I don't know, maybe the knowledge of most resent events she could have gotten from Walker of Boss Leader, but I think the amost of recent info they could give would be minimal.

It seems like she has a grudge against Suzy for her broadcasting of information. Suzy should be very afraid.

So the assumption was that Lisa wrote the note so that she could talk to Max. But since she didn't write the note, It raises a new question: why does the note writer want Max in the Barfe? Since there are rumors about who wrote the note, we can probably rule out any spirits ( assuming Lisa isn't wrong or doesn't know about spirits). So I think the best guess is dimitri. After all, he is getting lunch, and where better to get lunch than the Barfe?

Suzy wasn't exactly subtle about obtaining and planting that bug on Max, honestly. It was only a matter of time before someone threw a jab at her through it.
