Ryan:

As Ryan travels to the sea side part of town with the floating hand thing, he can feel his head get a little foggy. The Hand sings to itself in its so soothing voice. "Where are you my little white rabbit? Its not nice of you to run away from home."

Oliver, Arthur, Alice, Pepper, and Jared:

Pepper motions that she likes Oliver's idea, (her eyes light up a little more brightly then they should at Oliver's request to be with Alice) and she pushes Alice toward him She then grabs Arthurs arm and motions they should go together.

"I guess its settled then. I'll head this way and check around Bobs shack."

Chase and Jeanine:

The tree splits open in response to Jeanine's ritual, Monarca is letting you in. The earless yellow monkey is still chasing smaller spirits. It claps its hands and a loud sound rings out in a visible wave in all directions. Both of your ears hurt as you hear it at a distance. You see several spirits ears disappear and you quickly check your own. You thank god you still have your ears, you must have been far away enough not to be effected.


(Hint: Ryan could talk to the spirit, Main group can describe how they search and in what general direction or area. Chase and Jeanine can go beat the monkey or go to Monarca.)

Ryan shakes his head in annoyance, instantly suspicious because of his head. What is it that you're searching for? And what's your power?

I agree . . . he says begrudgingly Monarca first, monkey later. Chase then follows jeannie into monarca's domain.

Jeanine smiles at Chase saying Come on! The faster in, the faster out!before walking through the opening in the tree.

Ryan:

The spirit takes a brief pause at the Ryan's questions and chuckles a little. "Ghost-child, I do not hold any power that has use without the conjunction of others. As for what I seek, I seek that what belongs to me, my little rabbit that has run away from home."

Ryan's head feels ever so slightly more fuzzy.

Oliver, Arthur, Pepper, Alice, and Jared:

"You could search in the opposite direction I am, may be near the elementary school or close to the island." Jared suggests. He then heads off to do his search, leaving the group.

Chase and Jeanine:

Chase and Jeanine land in the grove path. The land scape doesn't seem to have change much at all. You to walk till you reach Monarca's throne. The spirit twirls her scepter, and turns her eye to face the too of you. She does not look pleased.

 "Harrumph!!! You come back to me with one of the quests I asked of you finished, yet another increases in magnitude. Is this not incompetence? And where is your leader, did he not see fit to meet me and face his disgrace?"


(Hint: Monarca aint happy, Ryan can continue to grill the spirit if he wishes or look to see if there is another danger, the monkey search party can head out.)

Ryan frowns. We're stopping. I need to make a call. Ryan reaches into the pocket of his swim trunks and pulls out a phone in a waterproof bag, then dials Pepper's number. He saw it on Jeanine's phone earlier. Hello? Are you there? I finished the wall, so you should walk along it until you reach the guard house and guard it. Also, send someone to meet me here. I'm escorting some spirit who's looking for some kind of rabbit, and something is messing with my head. Jeanine, Oliver, or Jared, preferably. Ryan sends his location to Pepper's phone and hangs up.

Oliver, Arthur, Pepper, and Alice:

Pepper phone rings after Jared leaves. She answers it and turns it on speaker phone for all to hear. She is not happy that Ryan knows her number.

The group hears the message.

Jeanine kneels and motions for Chase to do the same. My lady we have come to see to your needs. As for our leader he is currently stemming the flow of spirits into your territory. We beg your pardon in this matter for we had miscalculated. You see, as we were so eager to fulfill your wishes, in our haste we thought not of the consequences of eliminating the large threat to your land. For this we beg our pardon. she pauses then continues As for the rest of our group, they are currently culling down the number of spirits and also searching for the mouth of our dear friend and beloved jester's mouth, which has been stolen, and as your territory is vast, it was decided that we two were honored with the task of speaking to you and asking of any new duties you may have for us. We are here to serve to your needs.

Chase snorts " We all messed up, and for that we are sorry, as one of the main strategists i shoulder full blame for the lack of preemptive forethought." he said while kneeling. It is as Jeannie said, We are still working to get rid of ALL of the pests we can eliminate as quickly as possible so please do give us more time."

Oliver, Arthur, Pepper, and Alice:
 
Pepper waves her hands back and forth signaling with her phone that she does not have Jared's number.
 
Alice turns to Oliver. "Do you want to go help Ryan. I don't mind where we go, I haven't been here for a long time."
 
Ryan:
 
The Hand continues to search the area and comments on you call. "What is this 'messing' with your head you speak of, I assure you that we are alone and nothing is messing with your head." Ryan looks around and finds the street they are on is indeed empty, there isn't a single person or spirit in sight beside you and the Hand.
 
Ryan, notices that the ground is not the same color it was a moment before, he can barely tell, and it might be a trick of the light, but it looks darker.
 
Chase and Jeanine:
 
Monarca is still grumpy but is calmed by your confession. "It takes great bravery to admit your mistakes to another, especially to your queen. You are forgiven for you are young and prone to make such mistakes. Is there anything else you wish to tell me of?"
 
(Hint: Oliver and Arthur need to decide what to do, Ryan, something is going on there, Chase and Jeanine continue to speak with Monarca and/or leave)

Von aardvark and leviatron, you guy's characters are stuck being static and as such the plot has been stuck. As player characters, they need to be the ones to push the plot forward, not the npc's, there to give suggestions. You guys are the main characters, the story needs to go around you and your actions. Even if your character is timid or not used to be in charge, it is better to have them take charge and explain their discomfort then to sit back and wait for someone else to cause change. It can be use to show or create character growth.

No my lady. Jeanine says, still kneeling. She looks up into Monarca's face and asks, Is there anything that you would like us to do?

once they finaly go to search the forest  arthur and pepper find nothing of immportance, but spend about an hour trying to clime up the cliff to get the tools that are still up there ( that includes the time they spent searching the ground for them) becuase everything they tried wound up getting arthur hurt mostly because he sucks at climing, they finaly got up when arthur tied himself to pepper and she climed up.

the reason i say finaly is because its something that is going to happen in the future.

No, somethings messing with me. And you're the only one around... Except that it's messing with my vision as well as my thoughts, so it could just be invisible to me. But then, you would out it to me, unless you're in cahoots with it... Ryan pulls his goggles over his eyes angrily.

"Actually ma'am I have something to ask." convieniently remembering the dream switcheroo. "Do you know of any person or spirit that can switch dreams?" Chase made an urgent face.
