Everyone but Ryan:

Pepper nods her head at Chase.

Jared says. "It would be an improvement, but I think she's going to wanna eat sometime. What's the plan?"

Alice nods fervently, "I want to help Pepper too."

Ryan:

The spirit turns to Ryan. It's voice a low whisper. "There is something that belongs to me in this town, Once I retrieve it, I'll be on my way. Is this an acceptable term of agreement?"

We'd need to figure out where it would go. How long ago this happened and how far it could have traveled from here in that time frame, then try and sweep the area where I could be. But we also need to check in with Monarca. She might be having a fit over all these rampaging spirits. Jeanine says frowning. Should we split up?

Chase coughs obviously. I think I should go, without Ryan here to kiss monarca where the sun dont shine, Oliver and i are the most qualified to try and talk to her, and to defuse the situation before she goes ballistic, and besides, We're spreading thinner and thinner heree, so how about i have Jeannie come with me and Pepper can help you find the monkey, powerful as she is, she'd do you guys more good helping you find it.

Yeah Pepper your health is priority number one for you right now. Who knows what could happen. And I agree with Oliver. She looks at him You should probably help Pepper hunt the spirit down.

Pepper nods at your guy's plan.

Chase and Jeanine head off to go talk to Monarca.

The rest of you, Oliver, Arthur, Pepper, Alice, and Jared stay to discuss plans.

At the suggestion of using the sword Jared comments. "You want to run around with swords across town. go ahead."

Alice asks. "Are you sure you can convince the spirit to cooperate. It doesn't seem to like us very much..."

Ryan:

The hand thinks for a moment. "I you sure you want to tag along? It seems your guarding this post rather vehemently, and I wouldn't want to keep you away from your duty."

As Jeanine and Chase are walking to Monarca's Territory Jeanine turns to Chase and asks What should we say to Monarca? There is no doubt in my mind that she is a little more than pissed about all the spirits in her territory now.

Actually, my comrades remain in town, and I must go into town to contact them. I will send them out to stand guard when we meet. They ought to notice the wall on their way to Monarca's, right? It's particularly noticeable... Also, this.

I'm planning on telling her the truth, Ryan was a failed leader, I never owed any allegiance to him, and it was his plan that failed, if you tell her you're with me, we can not only take Ryan down a peg, and keep her off our backs, and Ryan wont suffer because he isn't here he chuckles at his own thought

Jeanine is silent for a while. It would be nice to knock Ryan down a peg... she muses But, spinning a negative image of him may have some repercussions. I did not really owe anything to Ryan, but he does have good ideas and suggestions. He's also a gigantic kiss ass and a jerk but. Jeanine sighs I'm not even sure what I'm saying anymore. I think we should tell Monarca the truth. We defeated a major threat to her land and as a consequence more smaller things came in. We have split up so as to capture and or destroy any spirits in the area. Ryan is busy creating a wall to keep other spirits out (which is why he is not here) and we have come to ask if she is in need of anything else. Ryan did not fail as a leader, he made a mistake and we are all at fault for not catching the mistake (which was that by getting rid or the large threatening creature we cleared the road for others to follow). Plus he's less of a leader and more of a fast talking strategist, as most of the things he suggests are something that somebody else would have suggested.

Chase and Jeanine:

You make it to the edge of town, your a little a-ways from Bob's Shack. You now can see clearly the wall that Ryan built along the border. The area is littered with spirits. You do see a yellow monkey running around, chasing smaller spirits. But it is not as Pepper described, instead of no mouth, it has no ears.

Oliver, Arthur, Pepper, Alice and Jared:

"How bout we split up, cover more ground. I'm pretty sure we can deal with a mouth stealing monkey by ourselves."

Alice gingerly raises her hand. "I rather not go alone...

Ryan:

"Then follow me if it suits your needs." The giant hand starts floating toward 'Clean Island.' He keeps looking left and right as he makes his way.

Looks like Ryan got busy. Jeanine says as she quickly steers Chase and herself away from the Monkey and quickly towards the fields, the performs the ritual to contact Monarca.

Ryan follows the eye, yelling at spirits as he passes by to get out of here.

"Good idea Jeanie, but i have an idea, you know that old . .hear no evil speak no evil mumbo? what if they are a part of that, maybe if we capture him, it leads us to the others." Chase was keeping a keen watch on that monkey and retaining a safe distance. "...and if we can capture all of the three, we may save pepper .. . not that I was worried or anything . . just that she is a useful team member, and i respect her talent."

I understand. Should we snag it then head to Monarca? she asks pulling a length of thread.
