Ryan glares at the guard and begins to mimic the sounds of the river with near-perfect accuracy.

Jeanine and Arthur:

The day of the town is vastily different. People walk the streets and there is commotion everywhere. Jeanine does begin to notice a few things though. One, all the people on the streets seem to keep repeating the same generic phrases and she swears that the same group of people croossed the street an hour ago. It is like everyone is on a loop.

She does see about 2 people wearing jackets with a Heart logo on them, but no one in the crowd seems to notice that they have inhuman features, like a tail or whiskers. She manages to avoid being spotted by them. Arthur does likewise.

Oliver:

As Oliver hides, He hears rushing voices, and feet. Nothing stands out and he cannot understand any of them through the door. No one enters the courtroom.

Time for action, then. Oliver opens the door and goes in search of the source of the voices, for better or for worse.

arthur leans towards jeanine and whispers into her ear "do thous people seem a little like cats to you?"

"What are y-" Chase quickly shuts up and pretends he has no idea what ryan is doing.

Jeanine whispers back A little. I know that they are all spectrals, the ones wearing hearts. They are the guards and rather violent ones at that so avoid them at all costs. She watches the people go by in the same repetitive actions and turns aways saying to Arthur Let's meet Pepper at the teapot at the park, but lets switch to a different group message. I fear the worst for the others. She then texts Pepper "Where exactly is the teapot?"

Jeanine and Arthur:

Pepper texts back. The Teapot is the outer most ring of town. She basically gives you her best directions, so you can find it. Its up to you on how you want to get there. Blend with the crowd or sneak.

Oliver:

Oliver walks out of the office. He sees that Everyone in the hall has just noticed him. There is 3 jacket wearing armed men, with the heart logo from the courtroom and council rooms. The last one is the same same large man that left last night. Now you can see his face. His face is that of a walrus. With glasses.

Ryan and Chase:

The guard looks questioning at Ryan's antics. After being subjugated by Ryan's noises, he starts sweating. He gets up, and looks slightly pained. Its obvious he needs to use a restroom. Chase also now needs to go thanks to Ryan. He looks panicky at you two then runs off as best he can shouting. "NO FUNNY BUSINESS TILL I GET BACK OR I'LL SHOOT YA."


(Hint: Now its a good time to look for a way to escape)
((Comments: Honestly, I let that work because it was the strangest plan I have ever heard.))

Ryan reaches under the pillow and pulls out the key, then unlocks the cell and grabs his stuff. He walks out of view of the cell and quickly changes into his own clothes, sighing with relief when he gets his swimsuit back on. Then he tries to put up a wall of trees in front of the door.

The pen no longer works. Ryan can feel nothing inside of it. It seems that the Hand deemed to kill the spirit inside. Luckily he did not do the same with the other tools.

Jeanine texts back "K. Meet you there." she turns to Arthur and says Delete any messages about Pepper's current location. If we get captured and they look through our messages then the will know where to find Pepper too. she deletes the messages and starts moving through the allies, keeping an eye out for Hearts.

As soon as the guy leaves Chase starts sawing the chains, hes not very good so it takes him a minute, but he manages to make them weak enough that they break when he yanks, Chase likes the cuffs and chains look, so he keeps them.

Chase breaks out as soon as ryan leaves.
"Im going NOWHERE! that hand's fertillizer . When we meet that hand . . .  I know you hate him too Ryan, but I'll make sure I get to conciously Beat him to a sack of broken fingers" Chase pulls out his controller, rejoicing at having it back.He wasnt planning on listening to Ryan, He was going to end the hand Immediately after finding him, no time for him to react that way, if he was a drooling hulk there would be less of a mind to work with. Chase hulkifies and snashes through the downstairs, He was gonna kill the hand, gunfire could be heard, and a loudd growl that said only one thing "HAAAAANNNNNND! "

Ryan begins sneaking through the passages, staying hidden and silent while looking for the hand.

"ok, lets go" the moment they start to head there, arthur begins to delete the messages.

Jeanine and Arthur:

You both travel through the town, luckily avoiding Hearts. You make your way to a playground at the edge of the town. The playground seems to be partly an art project. It has giant plaster tea set in the middle. Pepper's red hair pops up from the teapots top. Strangely there is no kids in the playground. She waves you two over, trying to be sneaky about it.

Chase:

Chase Barrels through the cavern, knocking several guards who are surprise, their guns firing as the hit the ground and Chase roars. THe scramble to reach their weapons again.

Ryan:

Ryan uses Chase's distraction and moves around the skirts to keep hidden. It seems that the base is in a huge cave, probably in the side of a mountain. There are three main corridors to follow. One is where most are the guards are coming from and seems the hardest to sneak through as there is nothing to hide behind. The other two seem open, one has a bunch of crates and supplies lining the floor and walls, the other seems relatively empty.

Ryan decides to take the empty passage. The one where the troops are coming through probably leads to some sort of barracks, which would generally be a good place to look for the hand, but not necessarily a smart place to look when you're trying to be stealthy. The one with all the supplies probably leads either to a storage room or to some sort of loading/offloading garage, neither of which seem like places the hand would be right now. However, the empty passage could lead to anywhere, and given that he's in the detention block and places like the mess hall and exercise facilities are likely placed near the barracks, it seems likely that the command center or similar facilities would be along there.

Chase continues smashing the soldiers, his defence is amped up so he doesnt care about bullets, He's a nearly mindless hulk now, All Rage and fury. He takes pleasure in breaking one of the hands guard's backs. Sadism apparently came from his rage, , he was smashing everything, the room, the people, it didn't matter.

Jeanine looks around then says to Arthur You go first, I'll keep watch. then when Arthur gets in the teapot she makes her way stealthily to the teapot then hops in with the other two, pulling the lid closed after hand. She turns to Arthur and asks quietly Do you have any extra clothing? she pulls out a roll of duct tape I'd like to sound proof the place a little.

Jeanine and Arthur:

Pepper helps Jeanine with her spare clothes. They make a pretty decent fort inside the teapot. Pepper then turns to Jeanine. "So, know luck on finding Alice? I haven't heard from Chase or Oliver either. I think Ryan also made his way into town..."

Ryan:

Ryan sneaks down the empty cavern hall. He can hear the hum of the lights above. At the end of the Hall way. He comes across several doors. One is labeled "Rabbit pin", another is labeled "War Room." The final door has no label. Ryan carefully checks all three doors to find that they are locked.

Chase:

Chase is able to prevent the soldiers from getting a clear shot at him through the confusion, but is nicked twice by stray bullets, one on his outer lower leg, the other his left wrist. Neither shot causes more than a scratch due to sheer luck.

A man, 8 feet tall then enters the cavern with a heart logo military sleeveless shirt.. His skin looks chalk white and his hands are the size of Chase's head. He is built like a tank. He cracks his knuckles. "I got this, stand down. The Hand wants this one alive."

Jeanine nods her head Yes, I saw the tree go up. From what I've learned, Alice has been controlled by the hand to be an extremely violent guard. The place is run by the Hearts, who are generally spectrals and will shoot suspicious people. I'm afraid that the others have been captured as they have not checked in. Jeanine sighs So what we need to decide is if we are going to look for them or if we should kill the hand first. And if we are going to look for the others, how would we go about it?

Ryan walks over to the rabbit pin and conjures a high-pressure flat beam of water between the door and the wall, directly next to the handle, in order to cut the lock. That accomplished, he walks inside with his guard up.

Chase growls at this Hulking man. He didn't know fear now, only Rage and Pain, A limp body of a random soldier is thrown at the man like a piece of broken furniture. "HANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND!"

arthur gives her some clothes including the robes turned down from earlier, some swim stuff and a change of clothes, while including into the convesation "apparently they found a way to turn people into spectrals, and one guy named 'mad' turned down there offer to join there group, after they turned him into a spectral i assume."

ok guys, this is my last post for the next week, so just have me follow jeanine and pepper around, handing stuff out at the leisure.

Jeanine and Arthur:
 
Pepper had a long look on her face. "I don't know what to do. We need to save the others if they have been captured and Alice, but I also don't want to leave the town in this state. Just removing the Hand probably won't be enough. This town needs help."
 
Chase:
 
"I got your 'hand' right here." Chase receives a powerful blow to his gut, knocking the wind out of him and sending him staggering back. If Chase wasn't super-powered, that blow could have easily tore through him.
 
Ryan:
 
High pressure water destroys the lock for the door. Ryan carefully enters, prepared to defend himself. Inside was a pure white room. The white was nearly blinding. In the corner lay the only bit of color in the room. Alice lay on the floor unmoving, her body in an unnatural position. Her dress was stained with coughed up blood. It was clear that she had just received a physical beating.
 
Nothing else was in the room, save for a food pan, and a door that lead to a small bathroom. Ryan felt some more memories in the back of his mind, leaving a sour taste in his mouth. He also somehow knew she wasn't dead without looking.
