Ryan sighs and creates a thin wall of water designed to cut the spirit in half, flowing at extremely high speed from beneath the spirit to above the spirit and running straight down the length of its body.

Chase:

Your head slams into the lions face and it reels back in shock and pain. It is no longer on top of you. Chases head starts to bleed from the impact.

Owwww , my head eelz all funny and fuzzy, nobody ever said a headbutt would hurt me he says slowly getting up and looking at his hand which feels slightly sticky from the blood, worried, he takes a look at his controller to reveal he has about 10 minutes before regular chase come back, and five before his body starts to auto reset itself, feeling slightly tired chase takes a moment to rest, knee on the ground, using up all this energy on a simple playfight by showing off wast exactly a good idea, and he had forgotten the cheatcodes somewhere in his fourthgrader mind.

Oliver:

The construct does not grow, the connection was lost when you fired it, however your power is still connected and crushes and splinters the javelin while it still inside the beast, basically exploding. The second beast screams in agony and the shards are pushed into its body and the whole beast starts to fade away.

The first beast tries again to hit you with its tail, this time attempting to impale you on it and the tail smashes through the barrier.

Ryan:

The beast bursts with dark purple spectral energy as the water slams into its face. The energy cushions and dulls the water but still pushes it back into the pond and leaves a nice dent in its face.

Chase:

The beast steps out of its stupor and then charges in a zigzag formation at Chase.

Jeanine:

Jeanine struggles to reach in her kit and pull out a pin then enlarges it in the snakes belly, cutting her way out as if she was a xenomorph. The button she has left behind continues to expand until it finishes the job and cuts the snake in half. The snake cries in pain and begins to dissolve into white smoke.

Covered in snake digestive juices and ectoplasm, you walk out thoroughly disgusted. As you leave the now steadily steadily smoking snake. You see Jared leaning against a tree and watching your exit from the snake.

He whistles. "Whoah, hardcore."

Oliver, while still on the ground from the earlier hit, notices the attack coming thanks to the broken wall and pushes it to the side with telekinesis, veering it off course. He keeps the pressure on it so the aim can't be corrected. Once it's fully outstretched, with telekinesis holding it in place, he attempts to pin it to the ground with two large spec-energy needles.

Jeanine looks up at Jared then begins to wipe off the slime.
How long have you been watching Jared?
She started walking to her tree, which, fortunately had not been damaged in the areas where her house was. Satisfied, she began walking down a small path through the forest. She turned to Jared and said  Don't follow me or you'll end up like snakey over there.
The spirit of the spirit snake ( :/ ) floated around, be moaning its fate. Jeanine turned to it, pulling out a pen from her pocket and tossed it to the spirit.
You can inhabit that. before walking off into the forest.

Ryan snarls angrily. Hes had about enough of his attacks failing, so he starts using more of them at once. He sprays water into its eyes, creates more concussive bursts against its ears, attempts to slice off its paws and legs and drill through its head, and he starts hitting it with his actual fists as well, punching ad kicking it in the face and the snout. Hes burning through his supply of water pretty fast.
Darn. Ryans gonna look downright bad at fights. Like, I mean... pretty much every single one a those attacks would probably be enough in the battles hes used to having.

Arthur:

Chase:

Yep, that beast is still charging you.

Oliver:

The first beast roars, exuding a large amount of dark purple energy, basing against the fields on it and breaking them. The sudden whiplash of the force fields being broken breaks your concentration and sends you flying back a little in the air, you landing on your rear, the needles you tried to form are incomplete and are shattered in you loss of focus. The beast hurries to get back on its feet to face you and then tries to strike again with its tail.

Ryan:

Ryan lets out a frustrated yell and fumes spectral energy. Water bursts all around the beast, knocking it side to side and slamming it in its face. Ryan then leaps back into the water and starts to pound on the dazed creature with everything its got. Stunned and slightly overwhelmed by the sudden overwhelming assault, the beast swats blindly at Ryan, desperately trying to knock him aside.

Jeanine:

As you walk into the forest, Jared tags behind.

"Whoah where are you going?

Jeanine turns around to face Jared and notices something she didn't see first glance, four long and deep scratches in his left shoulder, the wound still bleeding down his arm.

Jeezus, I almost forgot about this section. Been a very busy couple of RP session.

He panics for a second, then is calm again. He swats away the incoming attack with a quick burst of telekinesis. He blinks for a second longer than normal.

Then, with a shout, he slams a powerful force like a gigantic fist into his opponent, an act made easy as he no longer has to focus on keeping up his existing fields. He creates several basic yet extremely sharp needle-shaped spectral constructs and fires them as spec-shots at the beast one after the other. Several are aimed at limbs to pin it down, but most are aimed at the body for optimal damage.

DON'T GET BACK UP.

When something happens that Oliver doesn't expect, Oliver gets angry. When Oliver gets angry, Oliver berserks.

Ryan hits its paws away by hitting it in the leg, well above its claws, then fills its mouth with water, just pouring more and more in, trying to drown it. He doesn't stop hitting it in the face, not giving it a chance to see or hear much of anything.

What happened to you arm? she asks concerned. She looks at the wound then says, Follow me then. and leads him to a smallish  river deeper in the forest, with small offshoot pools here and there. The water looked pristine, however it looked very cold also. By the water was a shed. She took Jared inside and set him on a tiny cot while she pulled out a first aid kit and sterilized, then bandaged his wounds. She passes him a couple tylenol then grabs some towels and a small bag and says, You should rest in here for a bit. I'm going for a swim. Don't come out,or I'll give you something more to worry about than those. pointing at his arm. With that she left the shed, closing the door behind her, leaving Jared with a lamp to light up the shed.

Oliver:

The tail is swatted away by the telekinetic force, preventing it from striking you. Then the second force slams into the beast's side, knocking it slightly into the air, it yelps at the impact. The beast manages to stay on its feet and sees the needle constructs and then folds its tail into a make shift shield. The needles strike the tail and shatter on impact, none pierce the tail. The beast is now panting and slightly limping.

The tail may be easy to remove, but it is still as hard as a rock.

Ryan:

Your hand punches the paw before it can do any damage and you continue to wail on the beast. As it tries to roar in pain, You take the opportunity to force feed it water straight down its throat. (If he's not out of water now, he's beginning to run on fumes). You wailing starts to slow as you can feel the days activities take their toll on your body and you collapse on your knees. You had to run all the way to bobs shack and now also had to fight with all you got with a tough spirit, you are exhausted. The beast similarly collapses from exhaustion, and you both just lay there unmoving, trying to catch your breathe.

Great job, ya tired out the beast, now only if you could stand up as well.

Jeanine:

Jared seems confused by your concern and stays confused as you drag him to your shed and clean his wound. "I-It's O.K., really. I had worse..."

He blinks several times after you leave him and he does not get up from the cot as you shut the door.

Jared is not used to be cared for in any way.

Oliver shouts again and summons a constriction force on the beast's tail, basically grabbing it by the tail and dragging it into the air until it's dangling. He puts a similar force on its head, pulling downwards so that it's forced to stay stretched out. He follows that up with another volley of spec-shot needles. This time several of them are aimed at the joint where the body meets the tail, and a few more at the neck, while the rest are aimed at the belly. He begins to shout with every one he throws in an attempt to let his frustration, something he doesn't get to do very often.

So just as Ryan runs out of water he just *happens* to collapse in a pond, and his foe is temporarily incapacitated as well. Perfect. Ryan focuses on regulating his breathing, eventually being able to get in enough air that he can hold it, and allows himself to sink beneath the surface of the pond water, laying on his back. He quickly fills his metaphorical tank, as the water is very muddy, partially as a result of the battle but mostly because its a gosh darned natural pond and those are just naturally muddy.

Jeanine stares at the door for a few seconds before emptying out the contents of the bag revealing some towels, a bar of soap, a bathing suit (one piece with a rash guard and swimming shorts) and clothing. She changes into the bathing suit and dives into the water with the bar of soap. The water is cold, but she is used to it, and she begins to clean off the slime.

Oliver:

The force latches onto the scorpion tail and lifts the beast by the tail into the air. The beast desperately tries to stay on the ground and uses its claws to grab at the land below. The second force then latches onto its head and pulls it down and you hear an audible 'POP'. The tail separates snaps off at the base in and instant and the beast is pulled to the ground. The beast then reacts to the needle attack by slipping out of the field on its head and jumping behind a tree. The needles aimed at its tail base and belly miss, but it isn't quick enough to escape those aimed for its throat, and several needs land in its rear end. The lion yelps in surprise. Then begins hacking like it is sick. The severed tail begins to dissolve rapidly.

Ryan:

As you lay in the pond, recharging your 'tank', the exhausted beast starts making sounds like its sick. Its throat and mouth enlarge to regurgitate a large and wet ball of fuzz into the water.

Jeanine:

The grim and slime cleans off easily. A couple of local water spirits float by. They look like small lizard. One of them shouts out to you as it lazy floats by down river and through the pond. "Good job in catching a boy in your shack. Never knew ya had it in ya."

Can it you Jeanine says splashing some water at the spirits. I've had my fill of reptiles today.

Ryans eyelids widen and he watches the process outta the corner of his eyes. Aw no man thats gross stop that aw geez youre making me feel unclean dont do that thing youre doing

Oliver grabs it by the neck with telekinesis, Holding it still while he runs up behind it, jumps, and channels his energy into his left glove as he delivers the strongest punch he knows how to throw straight into the back of the spirit's head.

Chase uses up his last reserverse of energy to catch the creature, flinging it as far as he possibly can, "hopefully cats dont ALWAYS land on their feet OR have nine lives" he says, his 6th grade mind progressively increasing in intelligence, and the sudden realization of whats going on coming on to him.

Jeanine:

You wash off all the filth and feel squeaky clean.

Ryan:

The ball of fur starts dissolving and a little creature crawls out. It looks like a baby version of the original beast, with a human baby's face, a kittens body, and a scorpion tail. It gives its best roar at you (more like a squeak really) and pounces on your leg. The big one starts to slowly get back up.

Oliver:

Oliver takes advantage of the beasts hacking and uses his power to catch it in the neck and lift it up while it is sick. He then runs and jumps at it, swinging his fist with all his telekinetic might, the glove flaring with spectral energy, and hits the beast directly in the back of the head. The grip on the head breaks as the beast goes flying and tumbling along the ground. As it lands, it begins to dissolve just like its tail. As a spectral, you take note that it is not going all white and ready for possessing things, but disappearing completely.

Chase:

The beast grapples Chase and chase catches the blow, his legs and back aching from the impact. He then carries the momentum forward and flings the beast back, the cat goes crashing into the nearest tree and lands on its back.

Oh, is that your baby? Gross. Ryan stands up and grabs it by the tail, being careful of the stinger, and starts bludgeoning the original with it, swinging it around with as much strength as he can muster.

Jeanine steps out of the pool and back onto the ground (grass?). She sighs laying on a towel under the sun, drying out a bit before using a towel to finish it off. She changes into her spare clothes (a pair of jeans and a baggy shirt (and all the other stuff too)) then packs it all up again. She walks back to the shed, knocks on the door and says I'm coming in.
